Overview

The drtwrk Civil 3D plugin extends Autodesk Civil 3D with automated grading tools and connects directly to the drtwrk cloud grading engine. Install the plugin once and a dedicated DRTWRK Tools ribbon tab appears in Civil 3D — no manual command loading required.

What it does

  • Adds commands to Civil 3D: 2DLINEWORK, 3DLINEWORK, and LOTZONEGRADING
  • Serializes your lot linework into the drtwrk format
  • Authenticates with the drtwrk API and uploads your linework for grading
  • Retrieves completed graded surfaces and imports them back into your drawing
  • Installs the drtwrk Toolbar Windows tray app for sign-in, support, updates, and crash reporting

Configuration and review workflows open in a web-based modal (powered by WebView2) embedded inside Civil 3D — a modern, interactive UI without leaving your drawing environment.

The drtwrk Toolbar app runs in the Windows notification area after installation. Use it to sign in, open support tools, check for updates, report a problem, reopen the last prepared crash report, and open drtwrk log or crash folders.
